CCR 1016 12S 1S RM (what does the RM specify)

I have a simple question… I am surprised i cannot find anything on Mikrotik.com about this.

I have 3 CCR-1016-12S-1S+ RM routers

I am curious as to what does the RM specify? I notice that some of the new CCR’s have a EM

I think the EM stands for “extended memory”?
