CCR 1036 ROS 6.1 [Memory leak]

Works PPTP server and shaper simple queue. Memory leaks in about 1-2 days.

  • At higher loads, the shaper is not working correctly queue tree PCQ. Correctly works only simple queue.

Did you emailed support 2 supout.rifs already? one with normal memory usage other with big memory usage from same power cycle???

also what build-time do you have, i have seen several already

and this is not the place to report issues - write to support

Please make one supout.rif right after restart, and one right before restart. Send both to support@mikrotik.com

Make sure you have latest build: http://www.mikrotik.com/download/share/routeros-tile-6.1.npk

Take it
supout.rar (663 KB)

Please email to support

Yes I agree but it also very important that we the users of Mikrotik products can view potential issues being posted and that the questions are answered by Mikrotik, this way we as users can gain more knowledge of the product?

Need an bug tracker. All the big developers have it.

How big is it for MT?

@morf
I note your script for “Free Memory” and it reminds me of the script that would reboot router on high average CPU load, which only worked occasionally as with high CPU load, the average count (no matter how much I edited the number) would not complete sometimes and the router would just hang, I hope with memory it more successful?

Yes, this script works successfully on my CCR1036

+1

Juniper or Cisco’s bug trackers, where are they again ?

Exactly!!

And then there is this phenomenon, that if somebody finds a bug, they think that everyone is affected by this bug, and everyone knows all details about it
And one more phenomenon - if bugtrackers are publicly available there will be whole movement of "me too"s that in fact doesn’t have this problem, it is same like with diseases, more you read about them more you think you have one .

I’m sure they have their inner bug tracker or something similar. And as I’m sure that they have their beta-testers.

MikroTik also has internal bug trackers.

It’s good.
First of all I want to say that I am a big fan of mikrotik.
So perhaps it makes sense to give access to it as “authorized” user mikrotik. Or something like that.

please shar chanlog of the same ,
