I read a lot of negative posts about the CCR range and ROSv6. I suspect this is not a true reflection of the Router in the real world. There must be hundreds of these units in production with no issues. I Myself have one sat on the shelf waiting for deployment but this forum is putting me off. It would be really helpfull if people could post basic details off successful deployments and their uses.
For my router it will be very simple config, Using Firewall mangle rules, address lists, filters, Dst NAT, Src NAT a few vpns. couple of bridges and thats about it. No Dynamic routing protocols, no scripts, no queue trees. The routers is simply an edge firewall and distributing 2 wans and 3 vpns between 5 Lan,s.
I really need to get this router deployed as my current 1100AH is getting close to Maxing out its CPU at peak times.
I am sure there are many like me who are reluctant to deploy these devices after reading through these forums. Hopefully some positive posts will restore our faith in Mikrotiks Flagship router.
