CCR for Hotspot

Hello All,

I have a site where I have 857 users connecting via hotspot. Each user will have 2 devices, so the total devices connected to the router will be 1714. They will have dynamic queues made by Hotspot speed limit. Maximum internet throughput is 500mbps.

I am planning to use CCR2004-16G-2S+ as the hotspot router.

This is the main job of the router to be as the Hotspot router. Please tell me if this a good decision.

i think is a good choice

if you plan to grow in the short term consider CCR2116-12G-4S+ cost twice than ccr2004 but can provide up to 4x the performance of ccr2004

no, this site is just for this hotspot purpose. And there will be no more additions. There can be more users, e.g 200 more or less, but the router’s primary purpose is just Hotspot.
