Hello,
I have a CCR1036-12G-4S-EM Router.
Connected with S-31DLC20D on SFP1 and SFP2. On SFP3 is a S-85DLC05D.
The Router was working very good on the Ethernet Cables. Now we wanted to migrate the the SFP Ports and the problems was there.
If we connect the SFP1 with our PowerConnect Switch everything is fine. Link is going up. Router is working.
Did we reboot the CCR then the router didnt boot. There is on the LCD Screen the following message: “loading kernel from nand”.
If the Fibre-Cable are unplugged the Router was booting. Did we plugged the cable on SFP1 after booting is finished, the router works perfektly.
To analyse the problem we took the Router in our testlab. After this poweroff the Router didnt boot anymore (with our without the SFP Modules). We got the same message: “loading kernel from nand”
On the console we got the following Error:
RouterBOOT booter 3.13
CCR1036-12G-4S
CPU frequency: 1200 MHz
Memory size: 16384 MiB
NAND size: 1024 MiB
Press any key within 2 seconds to enter setup..
loading kernel from nand... OK
setting up elf image... OK
jumping to kernel code
(0,0) hv_panic: error -4 during decompression of client
System halted.
This Error is also on a older Firmware and a older RouterOS Image. We updated both with the hope for a bugfix. But the errors are still there.
We can flash the Router again over the netinstall. Then the Router ist working great until the Router reboots with the FibreCable are plugged on the SFP1 Port.
I have tried different MikrotTik SFP Modules on different Ports. (same Problem)
Any ideas ?
Best regards
Michael
