LCD Is it needed

Hi,

CCR router LCD touch screen, very cool but is it really needed in the enviroments these routers are designed for? The parts and extra code required to operate this feature cannot be cheap and the extra complexity of the router adds extra potential issues. I for one would prefer the extra money in my pocket. I think Mikrotik would find most would opt for a non LCD version if it were available.

Who knows if there are enough No LCD votes Mikrotik may consider such a device.

LCD is a Nice feature. :smiley: Just to be able to reebot onsite, is a really + ( not having to crawl behind racks to pull out Power)

The LCD “code” is already written for RB2011 and it will not make any difference, if we would remove the LCD. The performance and price would remain the same.

The price should be a bit lower. I think the LCD component should cost some money.
