i’m trying to setup cloud core router to do port mirroring and i’m getting back:
“port mirroring not supported”
trying to mirror ether12 to ether2, so i tried mirroring ether6 to ether2 and it still didn’t like it.
is this a deficiency of cloud core routers? is there a work around or does a normal managed switch have to be used upstream to get port mirroring?
no-one have any answer/ideas about this? is there another way to get mirroring working?
I think that port mirroring is a switch chip function, the cloud core doesn’t use a switch chip.
I could be wrong, but that makes sense.

It looks like you can achieve something similar in mangle. I haven’t tried it.

sniff-tzsp - send packet to a remote TZSP compatible system (such as Wireshark). Set remote target with sniff-target and sniff-target-port parameters (Wireshark recommends port 37008)
