Hello,
I am using CCR 7.5 at the moment and want to upgrade to 7.7.
I tried winbox to drop and update but it does not show update after reboot.
Any idea why it is not updating?
Thanks in advance.
When using WinBox, upgrading through /system/packages is the easiest way.
Are you sure you downloaded the correct architecture? What CCR do you use (can be ARM and ARM 64)?
CCr2216-1G-12xs-2xq
https://mikrotik.com/product/ccr2216_1g_12xs_2xq#fndtn-downloads routeros-arm64-7.7package
So it is correct
Check the logging?
Sure the file is ok?
Filename should be: routeros-arm64-7.7**.npk**
Yes file is 100% correct.
00:47:13 system,error upgrade failed, free 97 kB disk space for a (null)upgrade
I have this problem too. One of my CCR2116’s was able to get to 7.4.1, but won’t upgrade any higher, claiming there’s not enough disk space (even though there’s plenty).
If it wasn’t on a mountaintop that’s covered with a couple feet of snow, I’d do a NetInstall to overcome any potential corruption of the filesystem. Have you tried that (doing a NetInstall)?
Funny thing is that ether1 is SFP+ and I have rj45 ![]()
Is there any other hack to fix this?
Mikrotik should address this issue because ccr2216 is just brand new series.
Netinstall and import the export file you created before the upgrade?
Did you install any additional packages?
If you have another switch you’re using to connect to it now, you could use a dedicated VLAN on that between your computer and the 2216’s ether1 port to do the NetInstall. Or wipe the settings with no default config file, then connecting to it via Winbox.
“Or wipe the settings with no default config file, then connecting to it via Winbox.”
How do I do that?
I don’t have 10G network anywhere to use netbood ![]()
