I have strange problem in my network. I have as main gateway Mikrotik CCR router ( RouerOS v6.12 ) after that i have 3 PTP going out of it to separate directions. In MT CCR all 3 ports ar bridged. 2 of wireless links are Airfiber5X ( 1 gbit/s connection ) one is Rocket5M ( 100 mbit/s connection ).

Main problem is that 2 of this PTP ( one Airfiber5x and one Rocket5M ) decide to not pass traffic for about 4 min. After 4 min its comes back to normal. Dont need reboot. If i want to get it back sooner only what i need to do is disable and enable working PTP ( Airfiber5X ) ethernet port to cut traffic for 1 sec there.

For me looks like something with traffic flow. I tried to enable flow control in both ( Mikrotik and Airfiber5X ) but its not solve situation. When flow control is disabled its happens 2 times per day. If flow control is enabled its happens 1 time per 3 days.

Also - PTP ( Airfiber5X ) whats passing traffic always without problem have few fcs errors in MT per day. Two another PTP devices dont have errors.

Had somebody such situation and what is solution?

P.S. When all PTP links was Rockets with 100 mbit/s LAN we not saw such problem.

First thing to do is upgrading the CCR, both OS and firmware, bugfix-only release as of this time is 6.32.3, firmware 3.27.

Making an export and storing it safely prior to upgrading is advised.

Once upgraded, enable logging for the interfaces: System > Logging add topics, interface, action to disk.

Check interface status for those connected to the Airfibers. Is it gigabit?

FCS errors will “stop” traffic on that interface. Check all cables, POE units, etc.

Did upgrade to 6.33 version with firmware 3.27.

After 12 hours again 2 FCS errors. Still no cuts.

But here is a Question - why CCR stop passing traffic on interfaces where is no errors, but where is these errors all works.

Also -when im after interface where traffic is cutted i can easy access all devices in my network what means that i can go thru CCR bridge to another PTP devices. Only i cant ping and access CCR.
