I can’t find a ready - made microUSB 2.0 (m) - USB 2.0 type B (m) male cable.
Is it possible to use USB OTG (complete with CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+) and this connection scheme see:
CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ USB 2.0 micro-B(f) — USB 2.0 OTG micro-B(m)-USB 2.0 type A(f) — USB 2.0 type A(m)-USB 2.0 type B(m) ---- SUA750RMI2U USB 2.0 type B(f) ?
Can I use a adapter cable of two cables: 1) USB-OTG cable (what is included with CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+) and 2) USB2.0 type A male to B male cable for connecting CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ (USB2.0 microB female side) to Smart-UPS SUA750RMI2U (USB2.0 type B female side)?
Doubts about whether it is possible to connect devices that do not consume USB power to the OTG cable ???
The router doesn’t detect the mode (host/peripheral device) by the fact that the connected equipment drains power, it’s a grounded (or not) control pin on the 5-pin micro-usb connector which tells it how to behave. So yes, use the OTG cable which came bundled with the router and connect to it a regular A male/B male cable to the UPS.
