CCR1009-8G-1S not discovered in winbox

Hi,

I loaded an export (only changed the management IP) of my RB2011UAS into my CCR1009-8G-1S
all seems ok, and I can connect to the CCR in winbox on MAC and on IP ..
BUT,
in winbox discovery I see all my other MT devices except the CCR …

on the upstream CSR125 I notice :

ip neighbor print

INTERFACE ADDRESS MAC-ADDRESS IDENTITY VERSION BOARD

0 bridge1 192.168.0.247 E4:8D:8C:25:5E:A5 ccr1009 6.42.7 …

(some lines removed …)

The CCR is seen on bridge1 (???) as is it’s IP address but there is NO Board name visible …
Might this be the reason that winbox does not show the CCR ? Bug ?
Anyone ?

Check discovery interfaces first. If you find no issues there check if you have VirtualBox Host-Only Interface installed and enabled. In some cases Windows seems to favor this interface over Ethernet and causes Winbox to send broadcast requests for MDP over wrong interface. Had this happen twice already. A solution would be to manually assign metric to problematic interface.
