I’ve had a problem with my CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ a few times now. It seems to lose access to user accounts for managing the router. When this happens, I am also unable to read or write anything to the filesystem. I have 84M free out of 128M. Everything seems to be back to normal once I reboot the router.
Packages Installed:
ntp, routeros-tile, advanced-tools, dhcp, mpls, ppp, security, system
I have a script that runs nightly to download a list of IP’s to blacklist. It currents runs about 3500 IP’s.
The last time this happened, I was able to log into the router with the admin account. “/user print” showed only the admin user, the other 3 were missing. (The other accounts are used for servers that use ssh to add IP’s to the blacklist when a brute force attack is detected)
My questions:
Does the CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ have a limit as to how may items can be in the address-lists?
Could this be filesystem corruption? If how any way to check-disk on the CCR’s?
Maybe a memory leak? I have not been able to see the memory usage when this happens.
Any ideas of what could be causing this?
If it’s relevant, this has happened with 6.10 (shipped with this), 6.13 and 6.15.
3 of them suddenly no more user/pass just the default admin/BLANK pass
(Thanks God ACLs apply.)
But can not write to it. No backup, supout, nothing.
Must reboot to recover usernames, and after that I can write to it.
No one at Mikrotik solved it. yet.
I start ask for support since March. Yes, March.
“Try a debug pack, do a nand format, Upgrade ROS, Upgrade FW, etc. etc.”
Hi, I’m seeing the same issue as well on my CCR1009 -8G-1S-1S+ running 6.15. System was running in production for roughly 6 days. Before that, it had run for 7 days on a bench test running 6.15 with no issues.
Last night I tried to log in and discovered that my existing users were removed. I try to recreate them, they get removed within a minute. I can make other changes (firewall, etc.) and those changes save.
I also cannot create backups or export files without getting an error.
Sent Mikrotik a support request this morning: [Ticket#2014071166000791]
CCR1009 s s+ here with 6.15
After a reboot my config was replaced with an old config (i guess it was never saved in the first place), and every backup or export ended up in rebooting the router.
Also, i can’t see the files on the router (blank window).
I’m updating the config via api every 5 minutes (if it helps somehow).
I still have it untouched if someone from mikrotik would like to investigate it.
We have 2 CCR1016-12G where one of the two has the same problem described. We have upgraded these to 6.17 last friday and did the RB update to 3.18. The one unit is fine but the second one always has no password to access and cannot write files. Connecting via FTP sais filesystem is RO. Any sugestions?
