Hi, i have a CCR1009-8G-1S that I need to update and configure.
I dont understand why when asking for the firmware version, the system said:
Current-Firmware: 3.26
Upgrade-Firmware: 3.22 (small number version?)
serial number is 606B0542B770
RouterOS 6.29.1
I will upgrade to last RouterOS version because now the system is configured with 2 ethernet in the switch, and 3 ipsec vpn, and are very innestable.
I cant find any referense to 3.26 firmware, and i dont know what are the last firmware version.
Any help will be appreciated
thanks
Firmware is contained within RouterOS updates.
My recommendation:
Make a configuration export. Save it also on a safe place.
export file=myconfiguration.rsc
Upgrade RouterOS to latest bugfix-only version, 6.32.3 at this time. It is available at http://download2.mikrotik.com/routeros/6.32.3/routeros-tile-6.32.3.npk, just need to download and drag it over winbox, and reboot once uploaded to the router.
Once upgraded, update firmware, 3.27 is the latest at this time.
Reset configuration, with no-defaults, nobackup, keep system users and reimport the configuration:
/system reset-configuration no-defaults=yes skip-backup=yes keep-users=yes run-after-reset=myconfiguration.rsc
Done.
Thanks for the help , excellent!. Excuse me for take your time for another question , but the configuration includes three ipsec vpn and 2 doors in the switch, connected to the Internet and the internal machine. Had not seen ipsec working with ports switched and not on routed ports, you see a problem with this topology ?
thanks and regards
I’m not sure I’m understanding you, I think it will be better to open a new post for that, including an export of the configuration.
OK thanks my friend ![]()
