CCR1016-12G no connectivity at all and strange messages in console

Hello i’m not quite sure if this is a hardware or software issue, that’s why i’m posting my question in general section.

We have new CCR1016-12G:
[admin@eu-mt2] > /system routerboard print
routerboard: yes
model: CCR1016-12G
serial-number: serialnumberischanged
current-firmware: 3.27
upgrade-firmware: 3.27

[admin@eu-mt2] /system routerboard> /system resource print
uptime: 3w34m26s
version: 6.31
build-time: Aug/14/2015 15:42:51
free-memory: 1679.9MiB
total-memory: 1939.4MiB
cpu: tilegx
cpu-count: 16
cpu-frequency: 1200MHz
cpu-load: 0%
free-hdd-space: 424.6MiB
total-hdd-space: 512.0MiB
architecture-name: tile
board-name: CCR1016-12G
platform: MikroTik

Router has external (on ether1) and internal (on interface ether12) ip adressess, but is completely invisible on both networks.

After connecting to the router with console cable, i’m getting lots of the same messages coming to screen:

mpipe_close_cleanup_ering: wait for fence2 timeout
mpipe_close_cleanup_ering: wait for flush_pnd timeout
mpipe_close_cleanup_ering: wait for fence timeout

can someone assist and explain what is the meaning of this messages ?

Please email this to support@mikrotik.com

It looks like a bug with the CCR specific networking.

Thank you nz_monkey. I’ve emailed to support, hope they will find some time to investigate this behaviour.

As suggested by mikrotik support, the problem gone away after upgrade from RouterOS 6.31 to 6.32.2. Big thanks to support!

By chance was there something specific in the changelogs that can be attributed to this?
I know contacting support i’ll get the standard upgrade RouterOS instruction.

I’m seeing something similar where routeros is running but nothing is going in/out any of the interfaces.

Power cycle router and it works for a couple of hours then quietly drops off the network.

Devices on ether side only log the OSPF neighbour going away, no interface drops etc.

Seeing this on two different CCR1016-12S-1S+ with different copper SFPs. ROS verions were 6.27 and 6.29.1
