CCR1016-12S-1S+ SFP-RJ45 modules compatibility?

Hi,

I have CCR1016-12S-1S+ and got some OEM SFP-RJ45 module, it looks like original Mikrotik S-RJ01 and has same electronic parts :slight_smile:
CCR1016-12S-1S+ does recognize this module and show this info:

When I attach RJ45 to this module nothing happens, all above values are the same. If I put Mikrotik S-RJ01 module everything is good and link is up.
Next I put this OEM module to RouterBoard 260GS switch and the link is up and everything is perfect!
So this module is operational and perhaps the problem in CCR1016-12S-1S+.

Does CCR1016-12S-1S+ support any other SFP-RJ45 modules besides Mikrotik S-RJ01?

On our products we do not have SFP lockin, so other vendor SFP transceivers can be used in them. Did you try running this module with different auto-negation settings. Some rj45 modules work only when auto-negation is disabled and some other vice versa.
