What is the earliest version of Router OS I can run on this unit… can I run 5.26?
I ask because I had a mangle code on a 493AH that worked fine I switched to this router and imported the mangle it wouldn’t let me Use “Local” as my interface because I have the port named “Local” bridged it insisted I use bridge1 even though I have it named “Local” on the 493AH and bridged on that unit as well. Why the difference? between 5.12 and 6.31
Oh and I want to try the earlier version because the mangle code does not work on the CCR1016 see thread

I am trying to determine if it is a OS issue or if the CCR1016 just won’t run the mangle code due to hardware issues or hardware differences.
I could really use your help and expertise on this issue. Thanks in advance for your time and attention
