CCR1036-12G-4S Using 100% of one of its CPU's

Good afternoon,

I have been checking over my ccr1036 and i can see that there is one of the CPU’s running at 100%. It will run at 100% and then drop to nothing for about 3 seconds and then up to 100% again.

Also i have seen that it changes from one CPU to another.

Could this be the BGP doing this?

Is Mikrotik going to change this in future firmwares?

Thanks all

check routerboard cpu - what use your cpu to 100%-

i think do you mean tools profile

This is what i see:

I have BGP and OSPF running on the router.

When you run internet BGP on it, this is normal.
“It will be solved in RouterOS v7”

The important question of course is: does it cause any problems, e.g. forwarding delays or packet loss.

Great,

Do we have a releace date for OS7?

We havent seen any delays as of yet but are only just starting to load the router, in he next month we will have a better idea if it causes probelms.

Mikrotik have same talk about bgp and ros7 since 2014 so no, no date for it..
