CCR1036-8G-2S+- 10Gb optics 20KM

We have a requirement for 10gb connectivity over dark fibre which is about 18km long.



I was looking at the CCR1036-8G-2S+ ( I have found the following optics that are supposed to work http://www.fs.com/products/64715.html) but I have come across documentation in a routerboard product catalog saying they only support sfp+ optics up to 10kms.
Any help would be appreciated.

MikroTik don’t make optics that go beyond 10km at this point, and will only guarantee support for MikroTik optics, but the device should support any SFP+ optic - an optic such as http://www.fs.com/products/48813.html (I usually get the cisco-compatible ones as they’ve always worked in my MT devices & the only other devices I might use them in are Ciscos) should be suitable for your purposes
