My CCR1036-8G-2S+ died after a power cut during a reset operation. The device shows orange LEDs on all ports, black LCD screen, FAULT LED lit. No response on serial console, no BOOTP on ETH8.
I opened the unit and identified the SPI flash chip: Winbond W25X40CL (U2005/U2006 on the PCB).
Using a CH341A programmer with SOIC8 clip, I dumped the chip contents. Analysis confirms the RouterBOOT is completely corrupted — no Tilera eliT signature found in either bootloader copy (0x00000 and 0x40000).
I have the CH341A ready to write a good image.
Could anyone with a working CCR1036-8G-2S+ (or CCR1036-8G-2S) dump their W25X40CL SPI flash and share the .bin file?
Any RouterOS version (6.x or 7.x) would work — I just need a valid RouterBOOT to restore.
