ccr1036-8g-2s+em - Multiple BGP Sessions

Hi,

For experimental purposes i just purchased a ccr1036-8g-2s+em. Looking to setup soon.
I havent found anything regarding this in the forum, thats why i openend this here.

Lets say we have two ASNs. ASN123 and ASN345. ASN123 has 1x /24 and ASN345 has 1 x /22 and a /48 IPv6

Is it possible to announce both ASNs from one router? Both have one upstream with full table.
Maybe will add a second or third upstream.

Is it possible? And will the device handle it without problems?

Yes you can do it! Because you can create many instances and when setup peer you setup it with which instance will connect to it! But you have to talk with your provider if they will give you connection with the same IP or not!
As it is one of mos powerful routers of Mikrotik it can handle this but to get full table will need some minutes because in BGP it use just one of cores, is a problem in ROS 6.x lets hope it will be fixet at v7.x
