Hi Guys, I’m new to this. I’m about setup a NAS using these two CCR1036-8G-2S+ or CCR1072-1G-8S+. I need help to choose any one of these. I’m building a small Fiber ISP network & I will be using a external AAA server for about 1000 PPPoE Clients with total Bandwidth of 300 Mbps. I’m wondering if there is any maximum limit of PPPoE users that can support by these routers. Ex: one of my friend told me CCR1036-8G-2S+ would handle upto 500 PPPoE clients & if I want to have more clients then CCR1036-8G-2S+ is not a choice, is this true? Help me guys.
What would you recommend for the NAS? CCR1036-8G-2S+ or CCR1072-1G-8S+
My Setup would be like this:
WAN <—> NAS <—> AAA Server (PPPoE Authentication) & GE Switch for clients.
