Quite new to RouterOS, but 28 years as a network engineer.
The company I currently work for uses the Mikrotik hardware for a large number of deployments. Predominantly, CCR1016/CCR1036 used exclusively for Capsman with the Map2nD AP’s. Our customers require a slightly more complex configuration in that the management IP for the AP’s on one VLAN and subnet, with the user traffic on a seperate VLAN and subnet.
I’ve managed to complete the configuration manually by configuring the CCR and then adding a config script to the MAP. The larger issue is these deployments are around 2000 AP’s per site or more. So down to the actual question.
Can the CCR be configured in such a way where it doesn’t just push the WiFi config to the MAP (does this now) but can it push the config script as well? The time is takes to manually add this elongates the time and subsequently, cost.
Apologies if this has been asked before, I did search and came up empty. Any suggestions would be welcomed.
