I have an FTTH network configured, I have a CCR1072 as a DHCP server, I do not use PPoE, only DHCP.
My projection is to connect 7.000 clients, all receiving IP through DHCP
I want to know if the CCR1072 supports handling IP delivery over DHCP to 7.000 clients (ONUs).
Yes. As strictly a DHCP server, almost anything (including a Raspberry Pi) would work with DHCP relay configured on the routers back to the DHCP server.
If you’re asking if the 1072 can act as a router for 7000 clients, that’s a different story, and depends on how much bandwidth you want to route through it.
