CCR2004-16G-2S+ and monitor power consuption

Hello,
i bought a new CCR2004-16G-2S+ and installed on datacenter.

is there a way to monitor power consuption (watt)?

i try to use health
https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/Health

but i don’t see
power-consumption:
so on this model i can’t check power consuption?

Unfortunately, the CCR2004-16G-2S+ model does not have the capability to monitor power consumption through the health monitoring feature. The health monitoring on this model is more focused on aspects like temperature, voltage, and fan speed.

For power consumption monitoring, you might want to consider using external power monitoring solutions or checking with MikroTik support for any specific recommendations they might have.

if your priority is power consumption you can consider Passive Cooling version of CCR2004

https://mikrotik.com/product/ccr2004_16g_2s_pc

it reports less watts than standard version (still no power monitor included)

but I have already purchased the other model by now…

is not a problem, i just add 30/40 watt on monitoring server (idrac)

I was disappointed to find this same issue on our 3x CCR2004 units. Under health there is no voltage monitoring, which is actually pretty important over time.

The product pages still list all CCR2004 as having voltage monitor (voltage monitor = yes). (ie: https://mikrotik.com/product/ccr2004_16g_2splus)

I'm hoping the product pages will be updated, however a question I have: **it true that all CCR2004s do not have voltage monitoring?** We have several of the CCR2004-16G-2S+ model so can confirm that one in particular does not have voltage monitoring, but I'm curious about the other CCR2004 models (and if they do or do not have voltage monitoring).

fyi- the reason we find voltage monitoring important: it's very helpful to track over time as it can indicate when the MTs power supply is failing or beginning to fail.
