I want to go to optics and i never have any experience with it.
I found CCR2004 SFP compatibility list, but what about third party SFP28 modules? SFP for RJ45 was easy … is S-RJ01 ))
I have Mellanox MCX631102AS-ADAT NIC in my desktop and NAS, now i need to buy SFP modules for CCR2004-1G-12S+2XS and MCX631102AS.
Mikrotik XS+31LC10D have 1310nm wavelength but Mellanox MMA2P00-AS have 850nm. As i know wavelength must be equal. Is it correct?
Can i use Mellanox MMA2P00-AS on both sides or maybe Mikrotik XS+31LC10D (in this case does MCX631102AS-ADAT work with XS+31LC10D)?
No experience of Mellanox optics specifically but my Mikrotik devices have had zero issues with any third party optics I’ve thrown at them, be it SFP, SFP+, SFP28, QSFP+ or QSFP28. Everything has just worked.
The Mellanox side has sometimes been a bit trickier so I’d look at optics that have the Mellanox vendor code. But even those don’t have to be from Mellanox, look at Flexoptix or FS.com for generic optics that you can code to whatever vendor you need.

I never doubted that Mikrotik is the best! Will buy Mellanox SFP28 and will try it in both side.
I tested MCX4121A-ACAT and CRS518-16XS-2XQ-RM with following accessories.
- MikroTik XS+DA0003 and XS+DA0001
- FS SFP28-25GSR-85
- Ubiquity UACC-OM-SFP28-SR
Will work great with other MikroTik SFP28 router/switch products.
