I recently obtained CCR2004-pcie and apart from fact that it’s unstable as f*ck and tends to occasionally cause kernel panic on host - I noticed that it has problems with 9k jumbo. I have very simple setup using 10G 10GTek Intel compatible DAC between CCR2004-pcie and CRS317 and it doesn’t seem to support 9k jumbo (pings don’t arrive when their size is above 1500). I have 9k jumbo mtu set on both sides and I’m using the same DACs for Intel X710-DA4 in the same workstation without any issues.
I tried both passthrough-mode as well as native mikrotik way (passthrough disabled, address laid directly on sfp28-1)
Did anyone try to use jumbo 9k with 10G SFP or DACs with this card? I don’t have genuine LC 10G SX MikroTik modules since I never really had any issues with other vendors in my MikroTik routers and switches so I only have MikroTik RJ10 module (since I had issues with copper modules made by other vendors) but quick internet search suggested that copper modules don’t work with card either.
