Good afternoon, everyone,
I had never noticed the LED lights on the router's SFP modules before. This afternoon, I took a closer look and saw that there are up and down arrows on each module, but they are not lit in pairs. In fact, as you can see in the photo, only are lit odd number.
Am I missing something or is there something I am not understanding?
Thanks
AFAIK the arrow is pointing to the corresponding SFP. Hence, pointing to left under and right upper. Probably one for up and one for down?
The arrows point to the port they correspond to. The color of the arrow typically indicates the link speed, for example, green for 10G, yellow for 1G. One arrow might indicate the link is active, while the other might indicate traffic (blinking). This is only an assumption based on the behavior of other switches.
