Cell towers not created equal

Hi I have an RBSXTLTE3 router/antenna,

From my house it’s connecting to what looks like a very crappy Cell tower nearby. I’m getting about 1 or 2 Mbps transfer (tested on my phone too). When I take my phone literally 500m down the street, it connects to another tower that pumps about 30 Mpbs.

Is there a way to configure the RBSXLTE3 to “block” the crappy near by tower and go connect to the further one?

Thanks

No, I don’t think you can with Sierra Wireless modems either.

I don’t know what modem MikroTik uses in the SXT LTE device…

Can you just position SXT to watch in the better tower direction ? SXT has 60 deg. beam so maybe you can “miss” this crappy tower ?
