Cellular Network Issues with CME22-2n-BG77

Hi so i recently acquired a cme22 device with the hopes of using it for remote data collection but i have an issue

At the moment, I do not have access to a Cat M SIM card, due to them not being easily available in my country Nigeria, so I am using a regular cellular SIM instead.

However, I am encountering connectivity problems and would like to confirm whether using a standard cellular SIM is supported with this device, or if a Cat M SIM is strictly
required for stable operation.

I may be wrong … but AFAIK CAT-M doesn’t explicitly require any special SIM card. However CAT-M is not mandatory for LTE network to support (you have to verify with your MNO if they support it). And even if CAT-M is technically supported in the network, may have to be provisioned to your SIM card explicitly (again verify with your MNO).
