All,
I’ve got several CAPsMAN setups going, and all works quite well.
I need to however get a new setup going which has multiple LOCAL networks that we don’t want to send all traffic back to the central CAPsMAN.
CAPsMAN at central site
Multiple sites with multiple WAP’s at each site
Multiple SSID’s / VAP’s at each location, bridged to different central networks
Require multiple LOCAL networks too
Each site requires multiple LOCAL networks
Have to AVOID LOCAL networks being tunneled back to CAPsMAN only to come back!
Any thoughts on how to configure this?
Thanks all!
Yeah, but to what? What does that local forward option forward to?
I currently have all my WAP’s (CAPs) setup with a local-forward option, which basically bridges to the local LAN brdige.
Normally that would be fine, but in this instance I need multiple local networks.
I can can get a VLAN to each of the WAP’s, but the question really is, how to tell each particular VAP (SSID), to bridge a particular VLAN at each WAP?
