Central DHCP Server

I currently have a Central DHCP server setup that is working fine. The current setup is using EoIP tunnels from the server to the AP’s and just bridging the tunnel with the AP interface. This is no longer able to support our network because the EoIP tunnels are limited to 10mbs which sucks… I would like to keep the same implementation of the central server handing out DHCP over tunnels, something that will work at full bandwidth in place of the EoIP. Any suggestions that are known to work ?

Hi there

I suggest you to perform a load test using BCP instead of eoip. For further informations :

hoping this will help you
have a nice day

DHCP relay is what you are looking for if you want to isolate your layer 2 domains and still have a central DHCP server. Most large networks that rely on DHCP use DHCP relay at one or several key points throughout the network.
