At $WORK, we are considering deploying a small (10-20) set of Mikrotik devices. Is there a central management tool which can be used to monitor, update, etc devices on the network without needing to connect to devices individually?

Look at DUDE, but try to get version 4.03Beta. From Dude you can easily monitor your environment.
From what I can see, The Dude is not maintained any longer? Also, it is a Windows tool which is a serious pain for me…
Mikrotik started to maintain dude some time ago. The forum is full of it. And it is not windows server anymore…
There was a thread a while ago about adding TR-069 support, that might help
