Centralized UM and HotSpot

Greetings,

i need some advice on UM and HotSpot config.
The network setup is similar to the setup of one Mr. ASHISH PATEL (courtesy of picture),
but my network campus setup needs to have a centralized HotSpot (not multiple HotSpots on every AP).

Customer demands centralized HotSpot for web page management and, of course, user control.
I have tried setting up centralized management on RB1100 as UM and HotSpot server, and RB433AH as
APs with multiple wireless interfaces with each AP connected to “smart” switch on private VLAN, similar as shown on following picture, but i keep getting Radius server not responding.

Any thoughts on network design and UM and HotSpot config?

There shouldn’t be any problems with that design. Are you sure you have done the nat and firewall rules correctly?
Radius is using udp port 1812 and 1813.
Edit: Sorry, you don’t need incoming nat since you are on the same network. My bad!

I also want you to consider what mikrotik license you got (on the um router) since level 5 licens limits you to 50 radius users.
