I have sprint ADSL with a Zyxel 642M modem (not router) and am running a MT box to route. The sprint requires PPPoE so i had to set that MT box as a PPPoE client and got that working, now i have everything working where i can browse almost all sites except ebay and msn passport does not work at all, can’t even ping them, called up sprint they didn’t know what mtu was so i said forget about them. This is really weird, most low tech sites like google, etc work but dynamic pages won’t load, also i am not running web cache or hotspot and have no firewall rules in place.
Are you using a MTU/MRU of 1480?

i was at first, then i switched to 1492, didn’t help either, then i started a transparent proxy and it all works now with the proxy
