certificate failure: certificate subject is read only!

Hi,

I’m running Version 6.26. I imported the same certificate file I import every time. I then typed:

/certificate  set 0 name=some_new_name

and I get back:

failure: certificate subject is read only!

This happens no matter what field I change. Can you help please?

I see the same behavior here. I could change the name for two certificates, received the error message from above for two others. The failing certificates have both set SUBJECT-ALT-NAME. Is that related?

Hi MikroTik - any idea on this?

It seems like something in the code is changing the read-only subject field instead of (or in addition to) the name field that I’m changing.

I’ve found out that this happens when there is another certificate with same SubjectAltName previously installed. The oldest is allowed to change its name normally.
