CF Slot on RB500

What can the CF slot on RB500 be used for when running routerOS? Web cache, RAM, primary drive, nothing?

Currently it can be used for booting Linux and as a ‘hard drive’ for Linux. In the future, we may add a proxy cache for RouterOS or use it for another RouterOS feature that need more storage than the NAND can provide.
