Hello everyone.
I am a new user to Microtik and Router OS. Sorry if this question has been posted. I tried searching for it on the forums but could not find my answer.
I am working with a MikroTik RB2011iLS-IN 10 8 port router. I log into it, which has a default IP Address of 192.168.88.1. I try changing the IP address of it and DHCP range to: 192.168.1.1 for the router, and 192.168.1.10 - 192.168.1.245 for the DHCP Range. After the update takes place, all devices still get a DNS server of 192.168.88.1, which was the old router IP address, which does not work, which means internet does not work on the devices.
I then look into DNS Settings, select STATIC, and delete the default DNS address, and type in a Google DNS Server. After update happens, I run release/renew of IP address on device, reboot device, reboot router… does not matter what I do… devices still get old router IP address as DNS Server. Still no internet connection.
How do I fix this?
