Hello,
Please i am using the IP address 172.20.0.6 on the winbox to connect to my Mikrotik router so i type that IP adress and press connect on the winbox and then i get connected, now i want to change this IP address to 172.18.100.130
Can anyone please tell me what is needed to be done

You can do it the same way you put 172.20.0.6 in it or ask the person who did it…
Maybe the device isn’t even yours but from the ISP…
(“simply” changing the IP can have much more implications than keeping the IP it has now)
The device is in our network however the one who configured it is no longer working in the company so i can’t reach him
If there is a way to do it i would appreciate the help
