Change polarization SXT 5Hnd

Hi everyone,

I would like to kindly ask you if it is possible (and not too difficult) to open the sxt 5hnd in order to switch the pigtails connections to the board so as to link Chan0 on the vertical polarization and Chan1 on the vertical.

I know that I can mount the router horizontally to equivalently solve the problem, but that is more difficult because I don’t have an orizontal pole to accomplish that.

p.s. I thinkthe router is out of warranty, so I can modify it at my own risk…

It’s not possible, there are no pigtails inside. The antenna is soldered this way. There is nothing you can easily change.

Thanks for the answer… that kind of relieves me :slight_smile:. I will have to mount it horizontally.

Just as an assurance… if I mount it horizontally, do I risk that some water penetrates inside the router possibly damaging the board?
