I got a pppoe client myname1 with two profiles.
I want to run a script that changes the client’s profile from for example a day profile to a night profile and vice versa.
I already got a script from Chupaka which removes the active client and then he willl connect using the new profile..
Any help will be appreciated.
May i ask why changing the user’s profile is important ?
You only run this script by creating two schedules and setting intervals every 1 day, according to the hour
/ppp secret set profile=NamepProfile [find name=NameSecret];
And what happens in the simple case where the client is connected when you switch the profile ?
client must be disconnected
/ppp active remove [find name=NAME]
And what if the client is in the middle of something? Imagine your ISP changing your PPPoE Profile while you are doing an important work !!!
Yees there is no other way, do you have a solution to this problem?
The OP does not give any details of the Problem.. So what solution are you talking about ?

Obviously you dont care about that, you just want the job done, you dont care if there is a better way, you are bored to explain your problem, to give all the details, what is the use of the PPPoE client and a lot more…
