Change Quick Set without running the script.

I have four RB951G running as home AP. When you log in the router administration, you can see Quick Set showing you the wireless connected users to the Home AP. This is very useful to see quickly how many users are connected at this time and the graphs are very nice.
But one of the APs has the Quick Set showing you the CPE screen, so no connected user are available in the graph. Is possible to change to Home AP screen without running the script?

If this device has CPE mode in Quickset, it is NOT working as AP

Hi normis,

The problem is that this was my first Mikrotik and I begin to play with different setting. The last Quick Set tested was CPE. After this, I delete all the configuration and begin to configure from scratch following some tutorial in internet.
Now the router is showing CPE and is not showing the wireless clients, so it is more suitable AP. Others routers has the same configuration and show Home AP screen that is ok for the purpose.

Any advice to change the default window appearance to Home AP without running the script?

The QuickSet doesn’t “show” you anything. You configure the device there. If there is “CPE” mode, it means you have configured the device as CPE.

Simply change mode to “Home AP” in the dropdown, to fix the issue, and to make your device an AP.

When you learn a bit, you will not return to quickset. Anymore.

I personally use quickset a lot. It works very well if you know what it does, and what you can do with it. If you don’t know how it affects your other config, or if you plan to extensively configure other things outside quickset, yes, maybe don’t use it

That’s my way.

Is there a document outlining the various thing quickset looks for for example what address etc…
