Changing default IP of mikrotik

Hi guys,
i bought a new mikrotik, i configured ether 1 for wan for internet, and configured a bridge LAN that contains ether 2,3 and 4 which is connected to a routed port on a cisco switch that has an ip of 192.168.1.2. i gave this bridge LAN an ip of 192.168.1.3, and kept the default ip of the mikrotik 192.168.1.88 which is assigned to a default bridge that contains ether 5,6…
i want to delete the default config, but i am afraid i can’t access the mikrotik anymore if i delete the default config,
so i am asking, if i delete the default config, can i access the mikrotik through the bridge lan, so the new ip of the mikrotik will be 192.168.1.3?
Thanks in advance!

Use Safe Mode in WinBox when you make changes that “may” disconnect you from the router. That will allow you to reconnect with the offending setting removed. Also, if you lose connectivity via IP address you should still be able to connect via MAC address.
