changing drive = changin license?

Dear All,

  1. I’m wondering if i want to change my mikrotik installed on CF and changed to DOM, do you have to buy another license or can i move it just as is?

  2. How to make MT recognize SATA drives?

PS: I’m using MT ver. 2.9.45

sata works only on 3.0rcX versions currently and when stable 3.0 will come out.

if you change your drive medium (from CF to DOM to harddrive) most likely you will need to buy new licenes, i would suggest to use NF to ide adapter instead.


(you can move your CF around to different hardware without needing to change license)
