Changing the internet side of a Hotspot to another interface

Hi,

I want to change the input side(internet side) of a Hotspot to another interface other than ether1, say to a EIOP Tunnel. Is there a way to do that. I want to bring in IP’s from another source, tunneling them in, past what I am going through to get out to where this Hotspot is located.

Also I wanted to bridge the output (ether2) another interface. When I do this I break the Hotspot, and it goes to invalid and turns red. Is there another way of doing this that I don’t break the hotspot.

Thanks.
Glenn

For the changes in the gateway to internet. Change only the ip routes. The default gateway..

For the broken hotspot, you can reconfigure it with the diferent interface. Take care to change the DHCP server, the ip in ip address, the ip firewall nat.. etc. I recomend you to use the wizard and create a new one. There is no problems with this and the users will be there to work in the new “black” hotspot. Later disable the red one and other unused configs. : D!
