I’ve looked and looked for where to store information you want available from port 80 and have been unsuccessful. Basically all I am trying to do is replace the welcome page with a simple disclaimer with a link to a file stored on the Mikrotik. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
you can enable hotspot, it will show a login page, but you can edit it to whatever you want. or you can simply make a NAT rule to redirect certain customers to an external webserver. a page on the router will not be possible in this case
So is the www service is limited strictly to that page and bascially has no other functionality? And short of configuring hotspot (which unfortunately won’t work in this instance) there is no way to link to any other files stored on the MikroTik (no external web server) like “http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/whatever.html” or .exe?
