Is there anyway of showing bandwidth usage on charts that is not average? for example, i monitor the bandwidth and it peaks at 50mbps, but if i look at the chart a week later, it show 20mbps. Is there anyway of displaying the bandwidth captured and not averaged out?
I have never seen a setting for it, be careful changing the raw keep time, if the database grows above 2gb the dude will crash.
I only use the dude for events. 4 days max and then I can delete the database and start fresh on the next event. Where can I find that raw keep time?
Top left settings for global, click “Chart” tab. Change “raw value keep time” Default is 2 days (then it will be averaged into 10 minute averages). Why they changed from 5 minute averages is completely baffling. If you only have a few devices go crazy and set it to 3 months… still be careful to watch the database size.
I keep 180 days of 10 minute averages ~500 devices with no issues my database is currently 1.4GB.

This is what i get. Which one would allow me to get the most accurate chart without averaging?

“raw value keep time” is the actual values collected if you set it to 10 days then your graphs will show exactly what was collected for 10 days…
Is there a way to edit these settings in version 3.6?
who know’s why in dude 4 version when i build a few graphs by the time when data accumulate charts are lagging terribly.
For me to show a chars i need to wait good minutes to build. What is the problem ?
DOH I thought you meant edit the values. I don’t remember what it looked like in 3.6 but check the chart tab under settings. NOTE Be careful trying to keep too much raw data it will create a huge database and if the database reaches 2GB it will crash.
Previous post (still good information)
Yes. add the graph you want to modify to a chart, go into the chart and go into the properties of the graph and then advanced somewhere in there is a view of all the collected values, you can look for your “incorrect” value and delete it or just delete all the values and the graph will be empty. Also if you just click Copy for any object the values are cleared. Unfortunately it is not in 4.
i till cant find that setting in 3.6?
