Chateau 5G and outdoor antenna

Hi!

I need help configuring Chateau 5G to use it with an outdoor antenna (Huawei H352-381 5G). I tried doing it myself but without any luck.
I need to reconfigure one of the Chateau 5G LAN ports as a WAN port for the antenna. And do some other configuration. I was trying to reconfigure the ether1 port.

Please tell me what I did wrong and what I should do.

So here are the things I did:

  • I inserted a different ISP’s SIM card in the outdoor antenna and in Chateau 5G left inside the original. So that it was easier to do “What’s my IP?” and see if I was using the internet from the outdoor antenna or the Chateau.

  • I took ether1 out of the bridge

  • Changed WAN interface from lte1 to ether1

  • Added DHCP client ether1

Ultimately, I had no internet, and Wi-Fi wasn’t working. Everything was bad :slight_smile: In one case, I even needed to do factory rest to Chateau 5G :slight_smile:
Your help will be highly appreciated as I want to use Chateau 5G and avoid the need to buy another router.
