Chateau LTE and 5G advanced parameters

I experience suboptimal performances on many Mikrotik LTE and 5G devices.

I hardly succeed to make workarounds with AT commands and I wonder if i'm alone in this case.

  • Some of them to try to make link up (because of wrong firmware NSA parameters).

  • Some of them to try to improve throughput : enabling 256qam

It's hard to convince about using great Mikrotik devices when you always hear about phones and other devices (Huawei, Teltonika and so on), on the same places, to work much better: more stable, quicker to connect and better throughput.

AT commands exploration is like archeology as it is not documented (in their Mikrotik version - different than manufacturer original firmwares).

Firmware seems to have stopped being updated on some models, like "Chateau 5G".

As many Mikrotik owners, we are struggling with 16MB flash devices, but if we're unable to make them work, at least with their valid 5G modems, that's a real shame.

So, if anybody has more information on how to better work with all Mikrotik LTE or 5G devices, i would be happy to hear about :slight_smile:
