Hi,
I love fiber cables (high bandwidth, small form factor, energy efficient, great range), but the world speaks copper ![]()
Do you know a cheap, small fiber to copper converter, USB powered (maybe additional PoE, but most user devices will not provide PoE, so it’s not very practical)?
Something like the MT GPeR, but with a SFP slot on one side to be flexible. My problem is to get many devices, that have only a copper ethernet port, attached to a fiber network. It is very expensive and not that convenient, as I wish. For example the Omnitron miConverter S-Series S/GXT does what I need, but it is expensive and could be a little bit smaller.
Any ideas?
