Recently, I often encounter the strange behavior of Mikrotik devices.
Wi-Fi clients are constantly disconnected for the 2.4 GG transmitter.
Devices are different: HAP, HAP AC, HAP Lite.
Bought in Ukraine from different sellers.
There was a suspicion that this is a counterfeit delivery.
How can I check that these devices were produced by Mikrotik and not somewhere in the basement?
How to check by serial number?
It was like such a mechanism…
+1
I would love to use such a verification mechanism too.
Bought my first hAP lite RB-941 (Made in China) recently. And the WiFi speed seems fairly low, around 37 mbps.
The Internet connection speed tested from the device itself shows around 102 mbps.
Here is the report on 2.4 GHz channels:

Can this interference decrease the speed that much?
Today I took another hAP lite RB-941 (Made in Latvia) from my friend - will verify today and reply here.
On mikrotik.com / Account / RouterOS Keys, there is a mechanism where you can type in serial and OS license code to assign a router to yourself. Presumably, this would identify a counterfeit board.
